We are very sorry that we didn’t make a list for November 2016 as all of the contributor and admin of Passion Station was quite busy. Now that I have some time to spare, i’m going to make a list for December 2016 games. There are not too many games on December, which is good for our wallet. But we gotta prepare ourselves for the upcoming year, because Q1 2017 will be crazy.
2 December 2016
- Steep (PS4, XOne, PC)
Steep is an upcoming open world extreme sports video game developed by Ubisoft Annecy and published by Ubisoft for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game places a great emphasis on online multiplayer, focusing on competing in various winter sporting challenges with other players online.
6 December 2016
- The Last Guardian (PS4)
After almost 10 years of waiting, The Last Guardian will finally be released next month as a PlayStation 4 Exclusive. The Last Guardian‘s story is framed as a flashback narrative told by an older man recounting his experience as a young boy meeting a giant, feathered creature, resembling a griffin, named Trico.
8 December 2016
- Ryuu ga Gotoku 6 : Inochi no Uta / Yakuza 6 : The Poem of Life (PS4) (Jap)
Yakuza 6 is an open world action-adventure game and will be similar to that of other yakuza titles with exploration mixed with arcade style over the top combat. The story continue 3 years after the story of Yakuza 5. Kiryuu went to the jail for 3 years and during that time Haruka disappear from the orphanage. What happened to Haruka? Play it and find out. I aready tried the demo of the game on TGS 2016, and i think it’s AWESOME. It’s using a new engine called “Dragon Engine”, and it looks beautiful. Personally this is my December highlight. And it’s another PlayStation 4 Exclusive game.
15 December 2016
- Akiba’s Beat (PS4, PS Vita) (Jap)
The game is considered a sequel to the two Akiba’s Trip games, but does not share any of its gameplay mechanics, instead focusing more on JRPG related features and structure. The game will play as an action role-playing video game, with battles initiated once the player moves the playable character into an enemy character, sending involved characters into a separate battle screen. Honestly, the game feels like a Tales of games.
- SaGa Scarlet Grace (PS Vita) (Jap)
Finally SaGa series is back again, and this time it will be PS Vita Exclusive. Nothing much has been revealed for the game. All we know there will be a lot of playable characteres, and the same battle system like the old SaGa series, and it’s a turn base RPG, and you’ll have 5 party members. Check out the trailer below.
So yeah, that’s everything that caught my eyes for December releases. Which new games are you going to play on December 2016? Let us know on the comment section below.
