List of games that take advantage on PS4 Pro hardware

         PlayStation meeting was held by SIE(Sony Interactive Entertainment) last month at New York City had unveiled PlayStation 4 Pro, new variant of PS4 previously as we know as code name ‘NEO’. PS4 Pro upgrades the three-year-old PS4 with a faster processor power, better graphic power and support for 4K resolution. Sony will sell the console on November 10th at $399.

We know Sony showed off a bunch of games that capable to take advantage of PS4 Pro hardware, below I will write some list of games that confirmed and unconfirmed to take advantage PS4pro hardware :


Confirmed Title

PS4 Pro with a 4K display:

  • Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
    4K resolution and graphical improvements.
  • The Elder Scrolls Online
    Increased graphical fidelity running in native 4K resolution.
  • Fallout 4
    As I know Bethesda said “take advantage of the PS4 Pro in 4K along with enhanced lighting and graphics features,”.
  • NBA 2K17
    Native 4K resolution running at 60 FPS with HDR support.
  • Thumper
    4K resolution with no upscaling. PlayStation VR will see improved rendering quality at the same 90 FPS as the regular PS4.
  • The Witness
    1440p resolution or possibly higher upscaled to 4K with a consistent 60 FPS. Text, menus, and other UI will be set at native 4K.

PS4 Pro with 1080p or Full HD display:

  • The Elder Scrolls Online
    Increased graphical fidelity.
  • Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor
    Super sampling anti-aliasing.
  • NBA 2K17
    2K confirmed the game will render a 4K resolution. The company said “much better anti-aliasing” with HDR support.
  • Paragon
    Enhanced visual effects, procedural ground cover, higher scene complexity, greater texture fidelity, and dynamic reflections.
  • The Witness
    1080p resolution instead of 900p and increased antialiasing quality from 2x to 4x MSAA, while keeping a solid 60 FPS.
