October is just around the corner. We all know that the main dish on October is PlayStation VR. That’s right, PlayStation VR will be released on 13 October 2016, along with the games on the launch. After one year of waiting, finally the Tomb Rider series is back again on PlayStation with all of the DLCs that was being released during the year. - Metal Gear Solid V : The Definitive Experience (PS4, XOne, PC)
Konami’s last move to save the franchise. It will includes The Phantom Pain & Ground Zeroes, along with all of the DLCs that was released for both games. I know that the title might be confusing to some peoples, but no, there are no graphics upgrade for the game. It’s the same old Metal Gear V TPP & Ground Zeroes. Just a “Complete Edition”. If you haven’t had the chance to play MGSV before, now is the right time to buy this.
- Dragon Quest Builders (PS4, PS3, PS Vita)
Minecraft x RPG x Dragon Quest = Dragon Quest Builders. The story of the game took place of an alternate ending of Dragon Quest 1. The game is set in Alefgard, the world of the original Dragon Quest. The game is based on a parallel ending of Dragon Quest: before the final battle, the hero accepted the evil Dragonlord’s suggestion – each rules a half of the world. But that’s indeed a trap, and the hero was eliminated, then the world was dominated by monsters. With time passing by, a new hero (the player character) appears to revive the desolate world. Players gather “material” all over the world in order to rebuild the land of Alefgard from scratch.

After being delayed twice, finally Batman : Return to Arkham will be released on October. If you haven’t played Arkham Asylum & Arkham City, then you MUST grab this game. One of the best superhero game ever made. And it’s Batman FFS.
- Sherlock Holmes: The Devils Daughter (PS4, XOne, PC)
This game was already released for the Europe region back in June. And now finally the adventure of Holmes & Watson will hit the NA region on october.

Battlefield returns once again and is set in the period of World War I, and is inspired by historic events. Players can make use of World War I weapons, including bolt-action rifles, automatic and semi-automatic rifles, artillery, flamethrowers, and mustard gas to combat opponents.

- Macross Delta Scramble (Jap) (PS Vita)
This game is a flight-based action game with a primary series of missions that cover the existing story of the Macross Delta anime, going until episode 13. The title also features ‘Extra Missions’ with guests from across the Macross series. Players will be able to use Variable Fighters with three different stages of transformation while taking part in Delta Platoon dogfights.
The standard edition with include 20 songs total, while the Limited Edition will include 50.

World of Final Fantasy is set in the land of Grymoire. The two main characters—Reynn and her younger brother Lann—venture into the world to battle and befriend monsters and allies pulled from previous Final Fantasy games, including spin-off titles like Final Fantasy Tactics and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. It’s kinda like when Final Fantasy meet Pokemon, gonna catch em all Mirages.
- Dragonball Xenoverse 2 (PS4, XOne, PC)
The time patrols strikes back again on the 2nd series of Dragonball Xenoverse. I did try the demo on Tokyo Game Show 2016, and it is so much smoother than the 1st game. Xenoverse 2 takes place two years after the events of the first game, with the protagonist joining the now expanded Time Patrol, as the course of history begins changing again.
- Minecraft: Story Mode – A Telltale Games Series – The Complete Adventure (PS4, PS3, PC, X360, XOne)
A story mode of Minecraft, developed by Telltale Games & Mojang. This is the complete edition that includes the original Episode 1-5 and the adventure expansion Episode 6-8.

- Berserk Musou (Jap) (PS Vita, PS4, PS3)
A new musou game based on the famous manga, Berserk. Set in a medieval Europe-inspired dark fantasy world, the story centers on the characters of Guts, a lone mercenary, and Griffith, the leader of a mercenary band called the “Band of the Hawk.” Themes of isolation, camaraderie, and the question of whether humanity is fundamentally good or evil pervade the story, as it explores both the best and worst of human nature. Both the manga and anime are noted for their use of graphic violence and sexual content. It was supposed to be released on September was delayed due to quality improvements.
- Sword Art Online : Hollow Realization (Jap) (PS4, PS Vita)
The 3rd game of Sword Art Online series. Hollow Realization takes place in Sword Art: Origin, a restoration of Aincrad with intentions of research and development in the year 2026, three years after the original Sword Art Online event. However, unlike in Sword Art Online, Aincrad is one large floor, instead of multiple, while the castle itself was renamed to Ainground, where several monsters can be battled.The main character of the game is a 14-year old AI, known as Premiere, that travels with Kirito.Other prominent characters from the franchise such as Asuna, Leafa, Sinon, Lisbeth and Silica also feature.
- Crows : Burning Edge (PS4 Exclusive)
The famous deliquent manga is now a PlayStation 4 exclusive. Bouya Harumichi is a new transfer student to Suzuran all-boys high school, a place where only the worst delinquents assemble. Due to its large amount of delinquents who are hated by the general people for their inauspiciousness, similarily to crows, it is also known as “Crows high school”. Harumichi is an insanely strong fighter but has a irresponsible personality, how will he act in this new environment where every one is a deliquent?

- Root Letter (PS4, PS Vita)
Root Letter is set in Matsue, Shimane Prefecture, where the protagonist arrives in search of Fumino Aya, a pen pal friend from high school whom had disappeared for 15 years. After he finds a letter dedicated to him from her that was never sent, he sets out to interrogate her classmates as he wonders if everything Aya had told him had been a lie. The game contains multiple endings based on the player’s choices throughout the game. I already played the japanese version, click here for my review of the game. I gave it an 8.5 / 10.

Similar to its predecessor, the game is a first-person shooter in which players can control both the pilot, and the Titans, mech-style exoskeletons. The pilot has an arsenal of abilities which enhance their efficiency during combat. These abilities include invisibility cloaking and parkouring, such as double-jumping, zip-lining and wall-running with the use of a jetpack. And what’s best is that it has a single player campaign.
